Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate for the US Senate, and a TV presenter at MSNBC. She was also frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising together with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball have decided to stop the show in May 2021. This was in order for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball is a cohost on Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball says that she owes her interest in politics due to the fact that she became a mom during the 2008 primaries, and was also able to be able to watch the US presidential election results while in Jordan. She was able observe the impact of the election on people living in Jordan and gained an appreciation of the global impact US politics has on people around the world. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district during the 2010 election, losing to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 until August 2015. In May 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee working for Democratic causes.
